THE YATABE METHOD

Welcome to
The Soccer Technique Clinic.

We don't teach. We diagnose, treat, and follow up —
the way a clinic works, not a school.

DIAGNOSIS / TREATMENT / FOLLOW-UP

Technical diagnosis

— WHY DIAGNOSIS —

Why diagnose first?

No doctor would prescribe sprints for a child with a fever.
No doctor would prescribe stretching for a broken bone.

First diagnose. Identify the cause. Then prescribe.
In medicine, this is obvious. In soccer coaching, it is almost never done.

When a child can't score, coaches say: "shoot more."
When they can't beat a defender, coaches say: "practice more feints."
They treat the symptom — without ever looking at the cause.

That's not how improvement works.
Technique needs diagnosis too — by a trained Japanese technician.

— THE FLOW —

The Clinic in 3 Steps

STEP
01

DIAGNOSIS

We analyze your child's match footage and movement patterns to identify the real reason they've stopped improving. Why the shot doesn't go in. Why they can't beat defenders. Why their confidence has dropped. Making the invisible visible — that's where everything begins.

DIAGNOSIS MENU
  • Match footage analysis
  • Movement & posture assessment
  • Identification of technical habits and root causes
  • Personal treatment prescription

STEP
02

TREATMENT

Based on the diagnosis, we prescribe a program tailored to your child alone. Not generic drills — a fully one-to-one treatment that removes the specific causes we identified. Our database of 20,000+ cases informs every prescription.

TREATMENT MENU
  • Fully customized improvement program
  • In-person one-to-one sessions (Tokyo)
  • Online treatment sessions (worldwide)
  • Continuous progress records

STEP
03

FOLLOW-UP

Improvement isn't a one-time event. Like a dental check-up, we monitor your child's technique regularly to prevent regression. We call it the Periodic Check-up — a structure that ensures they keep improving, season after season.

FOLLOW-UP MENU
  • Regular technical check-ups
  • Progress tracking
  • Early detection of new issues
  • Regression prevention program

— SYMPTOMS —

Does any of this
sound familiar?

SYMPTOM 01

Can't perform in matches

They do well in practice, but disappear in real games. The cause is rarely "more practice."

SYMPTOM 02

Stuck on the bench

Years go by, but they never become a starter. We make the invisible gap visible.

SYMPTOM 03

Hit a plateau

They were growing, then suddenly stopped. It isn't talent — it's an invisible cause.

SYMPTOM 04

Losing confidence

Soccer has stopped being fun. Once the cause is clear, confidence almost always returns.

SYMPTOM 05

Wants to compete globally

Already in a top club, but wanting the next level. World-class diagnosis from Tokyo.

SYMPTOM 06

Parents feel lost

You don't know how to support them. Start with an accurate picture of where they stand.
